CATWALKS exhibition Düsseldorf Exhibition
I spent a couple of days at home in düsseldorf/germany, where i heard about a much talked about fashion exhibition "Catwalks" which was on at the famous NRW forum (which also held the acclaimed exhibition Radical Advertising with the liquidated Chanel sign and the Vivienne Westwood retrospective).
The exhibition was unbelievable! With runway films from Balmain, Chanel, V&R, John Galliano, Dior, and many more. Showing ready to wear, haute couture and resort collections. To view the films you were walking along a rebuilt catwalk, up and down and around corners. You were given a pair of headphones which played the relevant music to the shows or interviews with Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour besides others. Its definitely worth going!!!

The september issue-Vogue
I was one of the lucky ones to be amongst the first in the UK to see The september issue last week. I was not impressed!
In my eyes it is yet another documentary on Anna Wintour like all the others that have been made before. There is nothing new to be gathered from it other than that it portrays her rather well and not so much as the evil devil who dictates the fashion world.
I guess it will inspire a lot of young girls and boys to enter the fashion world and if you do not work in the industry, you will most probably like it. I can see it being a big success for those reasons and at the end of the day it is great publicity for Vogue.
