YSL A/W10

Tres tres chic, what can you say... so simple yet so beautiful. Huge jacket though above, are we going back to broad shoulders for men? a la early Armani?!

Viktor & Rolf A/W10

Really appreciate the trousers with the stretch at bottom. Very nice detail and über practical.

Missoni A/W10

A very british boarding school trend there by Missoni. Looks ever so warm and wants you too have a snowball fight on campus, before returning to the stately home.

Dior Homme A/W10

Looks like someone got inspired by Hedi Slimane..?! Well, at least its safe to say that Black isnt back- its here to stay.

Burberry Prorsum A/W 10

Really like the big oversized collars on these traditional lambswool jackets. New take on something oh so traditional.

Petar Petrov A/W Paris

Great article and interview on Dazed Digital. Love his new A/W'10 collection, the high end quality of a tailored suit mixed with the rough edges of a 70s picadilly circus punk. Looks great! He'll be huge- trust me!

BOLDSTAR* Gila Boot. They have used a unique structure detail so the boot is double layered with the suede hanging over the leather. Soft black leather and suede mix. Buy at Oki Ni for just £75.

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN Studded Louis Sneakers. I love them! And they are a real bargain at only $1200...

I wrote a not so positive review on Daisy Lowe's collection for SWAROVSKI yesterday, but I found this ring which I thought I must write about. It is model for women, but can be bought in different sizes so men can purchase he ring as well. You can also buy it in different colours but BLACK IS BEST...
The ring is made from Jet Crystals and costs EUR 179 from swarovski.de

Grooming

In my opinion, the best Hand Cream out there!
The Fast Absorbing Hand Cream by NEUTROGENA
is ideal for on the go. It is super small and absorbs
literally within seconds as well as being under £5.
Buy it here: Chemist Direct

Calling all Bankers and 9 to 5 workers

For all you Bankers and corporate office slaves out there. How about changing the work uniform you wear daily for something a little more crafted and stylish this Spring? (without becoming the laughing stock of the entire office) Below are some of the more suttle pieces of the current SS 10 collections by Etro, Galliano, Emporio Armani, Armani, Dries v Noten and Ferre.

Daisy Lowe designs for Swarovski

Daisy Lowe has designed a cpasule collection for Swarovski Crystallized, its a collection of charms, bracelets and earings. Its very esthatically pleasing, but not exactly the most innovative. The designs have a great colour scheme but lack any sort of new design and creativity. That is my opinion... They are safe options, so I'm sure they will sell well.

LAUNCH PARTY is tonight in collaboration with Ponystep (as always)

Kesha- Tik Tok- says the clock mock tock

LOVE Kesha, I think she is amazing, her song Tik Tok is super. (what a strange sentence)
Strange that the song was first released in the US last August and went straight to number one, quite rare that it took so long for it to blow up here and for it to be successful in Germany first. With Tik Tok she set the female weekly download record in America. Well Done You Sexy Thing!

I really 'dig' the american street style she embraces and that she didnt jump on the Lady Gaga bandwagon.

MONCLER is back with an unintended BANG

Have you been outside lately?
You will notice that there has been quite a lot of snow in the UK, which I thought wasnt as bad as everyone made it out to be, but what really caught my eye was the return of MONCLER to our streets. I do like Moncler and think every well dressed man (or woman) should own one of these shiny puffers.
In the past years, MONCLER seems to have been reserved for Italian or Spanish tourists, it became their trademark the world over, just like Germans wear white socks in sandals and carry Eastpacks (as a German, I am allowed to say that). One of my childhood memories is my dad wearing this "juicy green grass" colored MONCLER puffer jacket and Lord I hated it... I found it embarrassing to be seen with him, but have now realized that he just had style and bought a timeless classic, which I made him wear again this winter.

Everyone, go and buy a MONCLER. Trust me, if it wont be back in fashion this year, it will be in 5 so see it as an investment.

On the other side, I am not quite sure about the Thom Browne/Moncler collaboration "Gamme Bleu". I know it received fantastic press, but the last S/S collection looked identical to an old B-Store or even Ralph Lauren, I dont think they are getting the whole British originality across.
Then again they have only been around since 2008, so they may be excused.
